At least 10 percent of all in- stallations should be reviewed by a Manager before the Installer leaves the job site. These visits should be random and unannounced. The objec- tive should be to ensure that consistent quality standards are understood by all employ- ees and managers rather than to catch someone doing some- thing wrong.
These are fundamental con- cepts to ensure acceptable quality. If you can set up this process and follow it dili- gently, your quality problems should diminish significantly. Remember, quality is not an act, it must be a habit.

Authorities say a Rottweiler puppy stolen from a Pennsylvania pet store by a man armed with a gun has been found safe.
The 9-week-old dog named Remus was found wandering on a Wilkes-Barre, PA, street. It had been taken by a man who al- legedly displayed a gun tucked in the waistband of his pants.
The store’s owner told The Times Leader that a test of a mi- crochip implanted in the puppy confirmed it was the dog that had been stolen. The puppy didn’t ap- pear to be harmed.
The man who allegedly took the dog remains at large.
Officials say he, a woman and a child had played with the dog at the store. The man later returned and, after displaying the gun, de- manded he be given the puppy be handed over, then fled the store.
