The Quick Drain USA low profile, linear slot drain system captured the most prestigious Nightingale Award, "Best of Competition," honoring new healthcare and contract products at the 2009 Healthcare Design show this November at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida.

The annual Nightingale Awards product competition is sponsored by Contract magazine in association with The Center for Health Design and the Healthcare Design.09 conference and exhibition. Entries are judged on their contribution to healthcare, the functionality, quality, durability, aesthetics/style, environmental sustainability and pricing.

In his presentation on the first day of the Healthcare Design.09 architect Michael Graves remarked on the Quick Drain USA channel drain system saying "every shower should have (Quick Drain) installed." The Quick Drain USA system is the replacement for the traditional round center drain. In addition to providing a much cleaner aesthetic the product is installed in just a fraction of the time it takes to install a traditional drain. Quick Drain USA swept the "Bath" products competition at K/BIS 2009 winning the "Best of: Bath" category as well as the "Golden" award for most innovative product of the year. Just weeks later, Quick Drain USA was honored at the HD Expo by the International Interior Design Association at the Platinum Circle Awards gala in Las Vegas.
