A man in the Edgewater suburb of Colorado stabbed himself three times and made the extreme claim he had been attacked by Hispanics or skin heads in order to miss work.

Twenty-nine-year-old Aaron Siebers was arrested after he admitted stabbing himself. He is being charged with false reporting and obstructing a police officer.

Police say Siebers reported the attack to the video store where he works. The reported assault drew five police agencies to the scene, along with K-9 units.

Siebers finally admitted that the stabbing story was a lie after repeated questioning by detectives.
