Eliane, a recognized global leader in the manufacturing of porcelain and ceramic tile, has promoted 20-plus year industry expert Mike Cox to General Manager for Eliane USA.

After joining the Brazil-based porcelain tile manufacturer from Mohawk Industries, Cox served as national sales manager for Eliane and will now oversee all aspects of the U.S. operation from its Carrollton, Texas, headquarters. Cox believes in building long-term relationships with Eliane's extensive distribution network, and will continue with the successful model the company has used to become a leading global supplier of worldclass porcelain and ceramic tile. Eliane operates six manufacturing plants in Brazil, and with two distribution centers in the U.S. enables its customers to turn over inventory quickly and address the latest market trends with readily available supply.

In his new role Cox replaces Marcio Muller, who has assumed the position of Vice President for Eliane North America.
