I-Braces can be installed without the use of special hardware or tools. All that's needed is a 2x4, wood screws, and construction adhesive. Breakfast bars or cantilevered island tops can be securely braced in minutes. There are multiple ways that they can be installed and instructional videos can be found on the Braxton-Bragg website.
Corbels are notorious for their inconvenience, providing lots of opportunity for bruised extremities. The I-Brace family of products offers a safer and more aesthetic alternative, Kamat said. "The market needs and wants these products, and our customers agree. We also know that most homeowners hate corbels."
