Concrete Countertop Institute Class
Coming to Phoenix, Arizona

The Concrete Countertop Institute (CCI) today announced its first ever training class to be offered in the Phoenix, Arizona area from Friday, November 12 to Saturday, November 13.

The class, titled "Fast Track Concrete Countertops", uses glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) to create a kitchen countertop with integral sink and drainboard from start to finish in just two days. Each student also makes a sample square to take home. The class uses CSA cements and UV-cured, high performance concrete countertop sealers to teach students how to make high quality concrete countertops efficiently.

"I wanted to offer a class that can be done around the country, that still provides the essentials for success at concrete countertops, and that is less expensive for students in terms of money and time off work," explains Jeff Girard, the instructor for the class and the President of The Concrete Countertop Institute. "Fast Track is that class."

The class was first offered in September in the Chicago area at the Fishstone Concrete Countertop Supply ( www.ConcreteCountertopSupply.com) facility in Elgin, Illinois. One student from that class, Eric Heise of Supreme Structures in Madison, Wisconsin, reports, "It was not only convenient being located within hours of home, but was also planned so that I didn't lose lots of precious days away from work with a Friday-Saturday setup like you did. Fishstone was an excellent location and the class size made it very personable. The amount of information I was able to take away in a matter of 2 days was phenomenal."

Details of the location and cost for the Phoenix area class are available exclusively at www.concretecountertopinstitute.com/FastTrac.
